Was held today, August 6 at 18.30, the opening of the 29th Alcarte (Alcarte 2011) held, once again, in the City Hall Municipal Gallery from Alcochete.
The “Alcarte 2011,” is an annual basis collective art show, included in the programming of the Festival of Barrete Verde and Salinas.

With a participation of 77 artists (this year), is decidedly one of the best national art shows in Portugal.
The opening was attended by the mayor, among other official entities and was a major success.

Realizou-se hoje, 6 de Agosto às 18h30, a inauguração da 29ª Alcarte (Alcarte 2011), realizada mais uma vez, na Galeria Municipal dos Paços do Concelho de Alcochete.
A “Alcarte 2011”, é uma exposição colectiva de arte, de periodicidade anual, integrada nas Festas do Barrete Verde e das Salinas.
Com uma participação de 77 artistas (este ano), é decididamente uma das melhores exposições colectivas de arte, em Portugal.
A inauguração, teve a participação do presidente da Câmara, entre outras entidades oficiais, e foi um grande sucesso.

Indeed this year’s edition is best that I’ve been to, occupying two stores of the Town Hall building.
Some of the exhibited works are of great quality.
Lets hope at least for the same next year.
